1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, subscribing to, contributing to or otherwise using HIT Chronicle, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

2. About HIT Chronicle

HIT Chronicle is the official digital publication platform of Home Ideas Technologies Pvt Ltd. It provides editorial and industry content relating to architecture, interiors, construction, design, technology, business, products, projects, professionals, trends and related subjects. The publication may also carry advertising, sponsored material and partner content.

3. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms under applicable Indian law. Where a service or interaction requires a minimum age or parental/guardian consent under applicable law, that requirement will apply.

4. Permitted Use

• Use the website and its content for lawful personal, professional, research, educational and informational purposes.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Impersonating another person or organization, manipulating attribution, or misrepresenting affiliation with HIT Chronicle.
• Introducing malware, malicious code or other material intended to interfere with the website or its users.
• Attempting to bypass security, access restricted areas or interfere with another user's access.

6. User Submissions and Contributor Material

If you submit an article, photograph, video, project information, press release, interview material, portfolio, comment, review or other content, you represent that you own or control the necessary rights and have obtained all required permissions and consents. You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the licence below.

By submitting User Content, you grant Home Ideas Technologies Pvt Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, edit for editorial purposes, format, publish, display, communicate, distribute and promote the User Content in connection with HIT Chronicle and the Company's related publication and promotional channels. The licence continues for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes and may survive removal where copies have been lawfully distributed or archived.

7. Editorial Rights

Submission does not guarantee publication. HIT Chronicle may accept, reject, edit, shorten, headline, caption, categorize, fact-check, update, postpone or remove submitted material. Editorial decisions are made at HIT Chronicle's discretion, subject to applicable law.

8. Comments, Community and Interactive Features

Where comments, profiles, submissions or community functions are available, users must provide lawful and respectful contributions. HIT Chronicle may moderate, restrict or remove material that violates these Terms, applicable law or the rights and safety of others.

9. Intellectual Property

HIT Chronicle, its name, logo, editorial design, original articles, graphics, videos, databases, compilation and other proprietary elements are owned by or licensed to Home Ideas Technologies Pvt Ltd and are protected by applicable law. Third-party trademarks and content remain with their respective owners. Except for limited lawful personal use or express written permission, no rights are transferred to you.

10. Copyright Complaints and Takedown Requests

If you believe content on HIT Chronicle infringes your copyright or other rights, send a detailed complaint identifying the material, its location, your rights in the material, supporting evidence and your contact details. We may request additional information before taking action. Complaints may be submitted to the Grievance Officer listed below.

11. Advertising, Sponsored Content and Brand Features

HIT Chronicle may offer advertising, sponsored features, premium placements, partnerships and promotional opportunities. Commercial content may be subject to separate commercial terms. Advertisers and partners are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their claims, products and services. Unless expressly stated, HIT Chronicle does not guarantee advertiser performance.

12. E-Magazines, Newsletters and Communications

Where available, users may subscribe to newsletters, WhatsApp updates or digital editions. You may opt out of non-essential promotional communications through the available unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting us. Operational, transactional or legally required communications may still be sent where permitted.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Home Ideas Technologies Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from use of the platform or reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Indemnity
